It would be an UNWISE decision from Daniel Farke despite all his GOOD track record to allow this player join Tottenham in the footsteps of Archie Gray

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly interested in signing Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk, who has been impressive in the Championship this season. The 25-year-old Dutch center-back has scored five goals and helped Leeds maintain the second-most clean sheets in the division.

Struijk’s performances have caught the attention of Tottenham, who are struggling with an injury crisis in their defense. The north London club has four defenders out of action, and Struijk’s ability to score from set-pieces could be an asset, given Tottenham’s high number of corners this season.

However, Tottenham may face competition for Struijk’s signature, as Dutch side Feyenoord has reportedly initiated contact with the defender. Feyenoord is looking for a replacement for David Hancko, who may leave the club for a significant transfer fee this summer.

The situation is familiar for Leeds United fans, who saw Tottenham sign academy product Archie Gray for around £34.5 million last season. However, Leeds’ strong performance in the Championship this season, with a three-point gap at the top of the table, may make Struijk more inclined to stay at Elland Road.

Struijk’s decision will likely depend on Leeds’ ability to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. If they succeed, it may be harder for Tottenham or Feyenoord to lure him away from West Yorkshire.
