NOTTINGHAM FOREST SCOUTING TRIP TO WATCH ARDON JASHARI, BRANDED “BEST PLAYER” IN LEAGUE
Nottingham Forest are reportedly one of several Premier League clubs to have sent scouts to watch Club Brugge midfielder Ardon Jashari in action. The 22-year-old has been impressing for Brugge, earning praise from Pep Guardiola and former Burnley midfielder Steven Defour.
Defour described Jashari as “the best player in our league and perhaps even one of the best of the last ten years.” He praised the midfielder’s unique combination of energy, aggression, and calmness on the ball, as well as his excellent reading of the game and technical ability.
Jashari’s performance in Brugge’s Champions League clash against Aston Villa last week caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, Newcastle, Brentford, Nottingham Forest, and Brighton.
With Jashari’s stock continuing to rise, it remains to be seen whether Nottingham Forest or any other Premier League club will make a move for the midfielder in the near future.
